He also notes that the board has increased the allocation of money for amenities.

He also mentions that 2 trips were added to the number five route in January. Now they are looking to adjust the frequency the last two hours from thirty to forty-five minutes. Route 311 morning headway has been adjusted as well.
- Update on MetroRail Service - John-Michael Cortez
Mr. Cortez gives an update on the status of the MetroRail Service. He says that on May 15th if not sooner there will be a report with an estimate of when the MetroRail service will begin. He also discusses routes 20, and route 101 with regards to adding a bus stop on South Congress between Riverside and Oltorf. Mr. Gamez agrees that there should be a stop on South Congress, although stops must be taken out before adding more to keep with on time performance. The Bus Rapid Transit will have the South Congress stop, but the 101 Express Route will not. Its services will be terminated with the beginning of Bus Rapid Transit service.

Mr. Cortez provides the committee with hard copies of the recent Customer Call Reports. He goes over the complaints by service per month. He suggests that the board look over the report and e-mail him if there are any questions regarding customer comments. The committee requests to see these reports more frequently.
