Participate with Project Connect
As the Project Connect team studies
a number of alternatives for the rapidly growing and
increasingly diverse Central Texas region, we’re seeking the community’s input. We need your help in developing realistic and economically viable high-capacity transit solutions to address our region’s growth. Your input matters!
You’ll have many chances to participate in public involvement activities throughout the 2-year process, including
online and at in-person events. Please join our mailing list to receive regular updates.

We need your
feedback on our inventory of potential corridors, projects and other proposed plans. From time to time, we’ll send you surveys or notifications for upcoming public outreach events we’d like you to participate in.
There are two committees advising the Project Connect team. The
Multimodal Community Advisory Committee (MCAC) is formed of community members and supports both Project Connect and the
Austin Strategic Mobility Plan. Its purpose is to ensure the community's needs and preferences are incorporated throughout both planning processes. The MCAC will review plans and provide guidance, but it will not hold binding votes or adopt resolutions. The
Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) is designed to ensure governmental entities throughout Central Texas have a say in the planning process. It is composed of staff members at the municipal and county level, from regional planning groups like
CTRMA, and from state agencies like TxDOT and the Facilities Commission.
