Cold Weather Service

Due to the winter storm, CapMetro is adjusting service to keep our customers and staff safe. Please only travel if necessary.

Wednesday, January 22 Service

Regular service resumes. Plan ahead for possible delays and detours while temperatures are below freezing.
  • Route 214 and Pickup Lago Vista will resume regular hours.
  • Bikeshare began service at 7 a.m.
  • The Transit Store will resume normal hours of operation at its new location downtown at 1705 Guadalupe St.

Cold Weather Shelters

Register for a Cold Weather Shelter at One Texas Center, 505 Barton Springs Road between 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Ride Bus Routes 1, 7, 10, 20, 30, 105, 142 and 801

CapMetro is offering fare-free rides to One Texas Center. Anyone seeking a ride to the cold weather shelter and does not have the means to pay the fare will still be given a ride.
