Traveling with Kids
Taking public transit with your kids is simple and inexpensive. Children younger than five always ride for free, and now through December 10, all kids in grades K-12 with valid ID and MetroAccess customers younger than 18 ride all Cap Metro services free of charge! Students with school-issued IDs can simply show the cards to the bus operator or fare inspector.
Strollers must be folded while in transit. Items may not block aisles, obstruct seats or be left unattended.
Note: Supervise your children. Children five years and younger must be accompanied by an adult and held securely while the vehicle is in motion.
