CapMetro Service for July 4th

It’s 4th of July in Austin and that means Star Spangled Fest, fireworks and the Austin Symphony Orchestra at Auditorium Shores. Rides on all services are FREE after 5 p.m.!

We will run a Sunday-level bus service and Saturday-level Rail service. Please expect delays due to detours. on Thursday, July 4.

Star Spangled Fest at Auditorium Shores on 7/4

Start Spangled Fest is a free event beginning at 5 p.m. and ending with fireworks at 9:30 p.m. Getting to Auditorium Shores can be rough if you're sitting in traffic and looking for a spot to park. We’ve got several bus routes that’ll take you to the show, but take note the last bus leaves around 10:30 p.m. on July 4:

After the show, riders heading north of the river will need to walk to Lavaca and 4th Streets to catch their bus.

Those heading south can go to one of the following stops:

  • Routes 1, 10 and 801 at Congress and Barton Springs
  • Routes 7 and 20 at Riverside and Congress
  • Routes 3, 30 and 803 at Cesar Chavez and West
