Express
Our Express routes provide commuter bus service for North Austin and outlying areas, allowing customers to leave their cars at Park & Rides and travel into Central Austin.
Express is able to take advantage of the MoPac Express Lanes, letting riders bypass traffic toll-free. These vehicles have free Wi-Fi, comfy seats and room for your bike. Five Express routes serve Northwest Austin and Leander, with the other two serving Tech Ridge or Elgin and Manor.
In addition to the areas currently served by Express, Project Connect improvements include service to surrounding areas such as Del Valle, Four Points, Loop 360, South Mopac/Circle C and Oak Hill.
A guaranteed ride home
If you're worried about how you'll get home in case of an emergency and thus hesitant to take the train, then we've got you covered. The Guaranteed Ride Home program provides registered Express, Flyer, Rail and RideShare customers with a taxi ride home from work in the event of an unexpected emergency. For an annual membership fee of $5, you can register and get reimbursed for up to 4 emergency taxi rides a year.
