CapMetro to Hold Virtual Press Conference with Updates on Inclement Weather and Emergency Support Services

AUSTIN, Texas (February 16, 2021) - CapMetro staff will hold a virtual press conference today.

WHAT: CapMetro will provide updates on transit services and efforts with emergency operations. The press conference will immediately follow City of Austin’s press conference at 4 p.m. and will be accessible for media through this Zoom link.

The public can watch the press conference on CapMetro’s Facebook page.

WHO: The following CapMetro team members will speak:

• Randy Clarke, CEO & President, with a general service update
• Dottie Watkins, Chief Operations/Customer Officer, with an operations update
• Suzie Edrington, Director of Demand Response, with a MetroAccess service update

WHEN: Tuesday, Feb. 16, 4:30 p.m. (approximate start time, immediately following the City of Austin press conference)

WHERE: This will be a virtual, live event through Zoom and published live to CapMetro’s Facebook page for the public’s viewing.
