CapMetro to Hold Virtual Press Conference with Update on Services and Emergency Support
AUSTIN, Texas (February 17, 2021) - CapMetro staff will hold a virtual press conference about service amid the winter weather emergency.
WHAT: A virtual press conference, with updates on transit services and efforts with emergency operations. The press conference will immediately follow Governor Abbot’s 3 p.m. press conference and will be accessible for media through Zoom.
The public can watch the press conference on CapMetro’s Facebook page.
WHO: The following CapMetro team members will speak:
- Dottie Watkins, Chief Operations/Customer Officer, with updates on the return to service
- Tangee Mobley, Vice President of Bus Operations and Maintenance, with an Operations and Maintenance update
- Chad Ballentine, Vice President of Demand Response and Innovative Mobility, with a MetroAccess service update
WHEN: Wednesday, Feb. 17, 4 p.m. (approximate start time, immediately following Governor Abbot’s press conference)
WHERE: This will be a virtual, live event through Zoom and published live to CapMetro’s Facebook page for the public’s viewing.
