CapMetro Offering Special Service for ACL Fest

Multiple routes will connect customers to free ACL shuttles and to Zilker Park

AUSTIN, TX (October 6, 2022) - CapMetro is prepared to accommodate thousands of people in Austin who are attending the 2022 Austin City Limits Music Festival. The agency is providing multiple routes to Republic Square that will connect festivalgoers to the free ACL shuttle for both weekends of the festival. (Please note: CapMetro DOES NOT operate the shuttle buses between Republic Square and Zilker Park.)

In addition to providing service to the shuttle site, CapMetro will also have direct routes to Zilker Park. The agency will also continue providing service for those who are staying until the last performer by operating our late-night routes until 3 a.m.

Those attending the festival can also rent a MetroBike at any of our 75 bikeshare stations to get to Republic Square or Zilker Park. CapMetro staff is hosting a MetroBike valet at the Barton Springs Road & Sterzing St. bike station guaranteeing you a place to dock your MetroBike once you get to the festival.
