Ride CapMetro to Catch the Music at Austin City Limits Festival

Several options are available for customers to get to and from Zilker Park

Austin, TX—CapMetro is offering several convenient and safe options for customers heading to Zilker Park for the 2024 Austin City Limits Music Festival.

The agency is providing multiple high-frequency bus routes to Republic Square, where the official ACL Shuttle is located. Please note: CapMetro does not operate the shuttle from Republic Square to Zilker Park.

Customers coming from Leander, the Domain, or areas near our Red Line station can also take the train to Downtown Austin. The agency is providing special event service on both Sundays, October 6 and 13, for festivalgoers. The last trains depart downtown at 12:30 a.m. each night of ACL.

There is an Austin FC game on Saturday, October 12, and we are accommodating both events. We expect higher ridership demand and encourage customers to view the rail schedule in advance to plan their trip.

The agency is also hosting a Bikeshare valet at 1602 Toomey Road to allow customers to rent a bike at any of our Bikeshare stations to get to Zilker Park. Please download The CapMetro Bikeshare app in your phone’s app store to find the docking station closest to you.
