CapMetro Announces Thanksgiving Holiday Service Schedule

AUSTIN, Texas - On Thursday, Nov. 22, CapMetro will operate its Sunday service schedule in observance of Thanksgiving Day. There will be no MetroRail, UT Shuttle, MetroExpress, Night Owl or E-Bus service. The day after Thanksgiving, Friday, Nov. 23, CapMetro will operate its Saturday service schedule with no MetroRail, UT Shuttle, MetroExpress or E-Bus service.

For those participating in this year's Turkey Trot, CapMetro offers convenient access to the starting point through Routes 1, 7, 20 and 801.  Detours for those and other routes will be in place Thursday morning.

MetroAccess subscription trips scheduled for Nov. 22 and Nov. 23 will be cancelled automatically.  Customers should call 512-852-7272 to reschedule these trips.

CapMetro administrative offices and the Transit Store will be closed Nov. 22 and 23, however customers will have 24-hour access to the online Trip Planner and customer service by calling the GO Line at 512-474-1200. Service returns to its regular schedule on Saturday, Nov. 24.
